Your first landing
- Select an aircraft on the radar, or its flight strip.
- Choose Route to gate. This sets a route via the eastern approach marker. Aircraft turn gradually, so leave room for the turn.
- Set 2,000 ft and 180 kt. Actual altitude and speed take time to catch up.
- Choose Arm approach. The aircraft captures the gate when it is near the gate, heading west, at or below 2,500 ft and 200 kt. Once established, it lands automatically.
You are still responsible for separation
Do not send every aircraft to the gate at once. Keep later arrivals at 3,000, 4,000 or 5,000 ft while you sequence the first one. At least 1,000 ft vertically, or seven radar grid units horizontally, avoids a conflict. Amber predicts a close pass. A red conflict persisting for three seconds gives one strike.
Draw a route by dragging from an aircraft, or select it and click an empty spot. After the final waypoint, it continues on its last heading. A direct heading command cancels its route. Aircraft cannot turn instantly.
Overflights, weather and emergencies
Cyan overflights have a named boundary exit. Use Route to exit or steer them there yourself. Gold priority arrivals have a fuel countdown. Keep clear of amber weather cells; spending three seconds in one causes a strike. Leaving the wrong part of the sector also causes a strike.
Modes and scoring
Endless traffic builds up over time. Three strikes close the sector. Safe landings and handovers build a score multiplier, and priority arrivals give a bonus. The daily shift uses the same seed for everyone and lasts five minutes of unpaused play. Sandbox has no strike limit, no automatic traffic stream and no score; use Add traffic.
Clear five aircraft in an endless run for 20 DEXM points, up to three qualifying runs per UTC day. Complete the daily shift with at least five clearances for 100 points once that day. Your score and DEXM points are separate.
Keyboard and touch
Use the flight-strip buttons with Tab and Enter. With the radar focused, Left/Right adjust heading by 15 degrees and Up/Down change assigned altitude by 1,000 ft. P pauses. On touchscreens, tap a contact then a destination, or drag a route.
The game pauses when the tab is hidden or the window loses focus. There is no live-run save; leaving the page abandons the current sector. Best scores and sound settings stay in this browser.
